A study to assess the effectiveness of OSCE (Objective structured clinical examination) method on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) among B.Sc. Nursing 2nd Year Students of Government College of Nursing, Ujjain (M.P.)

The practice of cardiopulmonary resuscitation dates a way back to 1740, but even today it remains nightmare the majority population. Cardiopulmonary can save lives if given correctly and immediately sudden cardiac arrest victims. Therefore Aim Study: Is assess effectiveness OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) Method on Resuscitation (CPR) Among B.Sc. Nursing 2nd Year Students. Material Method: One group Pre Test –Post pre experimental Research design. Total sample consisted 40 second year students through Non probability purposive sampling technique. Findings study: Indicated that in – test 67.5% had poor skill, 25% average skill 7.5% good while post-test 60% 40% them skill. In this mean difference between pre-test post scores is 8.57. calculated ’t’ value 14.19. This concluded demonstration with method was effective improving among nursing students.
